It seems incomprehensible to believe that these circumstances came about in Australia today. In fact, if it had not happened to me, I doubt if I would believe it has actually happened. As Australians we like to believe everyone gets "fair go" and we traditionally tend to favour the underdog.

To realize Telstra's Board have and do continue to employ the most unethical, corrupt, cheating, lying corporate rogues in the world, is almost impossible to comprehend. How our politicians have allowed this to happen is beyond belief. Were the politicians warned? ... Yes! Were there any signs or signals? ... Plenty!

Our Federal Senate dodged the issues in the 1992 to 1999 Telecom / Telstra Senate estimates enquiries, when they had the opportunity. At their enquiries Telstra staff were caught red handed, but there was no follow-up and the lack of corporate accountability was buried along with the proven knowledge of Telstra's systemic faults, massive software problems and extensive billing errors are continuing in 2002.

The problems were conveniently whitewashed, covered up and left to fester!

Some victims were paid to keep their silence, but absolutely nothing was done to correct the problem or to reprimand the culprits.

They were allowed to continue to carry on to become repeat offenders, cheating, lying, forging, bugging etc, to their hearts content, making Telstra the biggest criminal in Australia's corporate and political history.

This is infamy in the making!
